Fool Dost returns to India’s age-old textile handcrafts as being fundamental to the creation of what we wear. As it once was, now for their innate qualities and as a way to diverge from the industry’s harmful norms towards more socially and environmentally harmonious practices.

We work solely with fine handwoven, natural fibre textiles to elevate garments and imbibe connection. The visual textures that result from complex handcraft processes are integral to our aesthetic, forming inherently soulful, sustainable outfitting. Outfitting for the artisanal minimalist that holds an understated luxury appeal.

Through partnerships with social enterprises, initiatives and working directly with artisans our brand joins an eco-system striving for socio-economic-environmental balance, whilst contributing to indigenous craft preservation for textile communities in rural parts of West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Our collections are produced in-house at our design studio in Goa, South West India.
